The club starts looking for new board members in July of each year, for terms running from November to November.

Board nominees are expected to have attended some of the club's board meetings, and demonstrated an interest in the club by active participation in one or more committees.

Board meetings are held every month at the Gleacher Center. If you are interested in attending, please register using the club's event calendar.







 
 


William Roule
Treasurer

  Bill Roule is currently between opportunities.
           
Prior to this situation, Bill has worked as a Federal Tax Specialist for Rio Tinto Alcan, a Tax Manager for Rand McNally, a self-employed tax consultant, a Senior Tax Manager for Navigant Consulting, a Tax Manager for Deloitte & Touche, and he spent many years in the tax department of Inland Steel Industries.

Bill earned a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. At Chicago, he was president of Henderson House Council. He received a MBA with a concentration in Finance and Accounting at the Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. In addition, he earned a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from DePaul University. He is also a CPA.

Bill is currently the Treasurer of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club. For two years, he was the president of the Metro Chapter of the Illinois CPA Society.

Bill lives in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. He enjoys going to the theater and the movies

Anjoo Rai-Marchant
President
 

Anjoo was nominated to the University of Chicago Booth Alumni Club Board in 2013 as a Director at Large.  She graduated from the Booth Executive MBA program in 2008 based in London and moved to Chicago that same year.

 

Anjoo has spent majority of her career in the technology field working in a variety industries from investment banking to software and professional services.  She has lived and worked in Europe, Asia and the U.S.  She is currently the CEO and Founder ofShopRock.it, the personal shopping app that delivers the same day.  ShopRock.it eliminates the time you spend running to various stores by doing the shopping for you. 
ShopRock.itshoppers search local stores such as Macy’s, Target, Walgreens, Home Depot, etc. to find your items and then deliver them to your doorstep - the very same day.

Anjoo lives in Chicago with her husband and two children.  She loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Elizabeth Bleakley is the founding principal of Bleakley Law LLC, a Chicago loop law firm that focuses on helping small and middle market businesses and business owners meet their legal needs.  She provides clients with legal counsel and services for mergers and acquisitions, capital formation through exempt securities offerings, equity compensation plans, business separations, and corporate governance and general business matters, among other things. Elizabeth founded three small businesses of her own and understands the risks, rewards, and challenges involved. She has over ten years of management experience at several national financial services companies.


Elizabeth is the 2016-2017 Chair of the ISBA Business and Securities Section Council, a former ABA Business Law Fellow, and a former Chair of the ISBA Business Advice and Financial Planning Section Council. She is President of the Chicago Association for Business Economics (CABE) since 2015, and a current board member and former President of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club (CBAC). She hosts and moderates economics and public policy forums for both groups. Elizabeth has spoken on many occasions for both the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), and has been published many times by both associations. She is a member of the Institute of Illinois Business Law, which she joined by invitation in 2013. She was an adjunct professor at DePaul University for several years where she taught a course on leadership.

Elizabeth has a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law where she received CALI Excellence for the Future awards in Business Organizations, Lawyering for Venture Capital, and Investment Banking. She earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in finance and accounting, strategy, economics, and entrepreneurship. Elizabeth received her B.A. with a concentration in Business Administration from DePaul University. She is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.




           
           
Borislava Karageorgieva

  Borislava Karageorgieva was nominated Board Member of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club in October2010.  Borislava’s involvement is on the Career Management Committee, which develops career- related webinars and events on current topics of interest to both experienced alumni and new graduates of Chicago Booth.   

 

In her career, Borislava is an experienced Corporation Finance professional.  Her background includes roles within the private and public sectors in the USA and Europe,

Bruce Fischer is a professor of management at Elmhurst College. He received his Ph.D.in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University.

Vivek Prabhu

  Vivek's background is in enterprise software and is currently a Principal at Chi5 Inc., a technology firm based out of Chicago. Previously, Vivek was a part of Oracle Corporation's consulting services division and focused on implementing enterprise software, focusing on e-commerce, at small & medium sized businesses.

In addition to being on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club, Vivek is also a member steering committee for the Chicago Booth Marketing Roundtable.

Vivek has a Bachelor's & Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Nicole Yelsey

Nicole Yelsey joined the Chicago Booth Alumni Club Board of Directors in 2015 after graduating from the full time program at Booth in 2012.  While at Booth, she was Marketing Group co-chair was an active member of the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Group and the Media, Sports & Entertainment Group and Dean’s Student Admissions Committee.   She is passionate about bringing great events to the CBAC and connecting Booth alumni in Chicago.  She feels lucky to be a part of the Chicago Booth community, and is excited to pay it forward to that community. 

 

Nicole is a passionate marketing and general management professional who is currently leading the business development team at Mosaic, an experiential marketing company that is among the fastest growing agencies in the US.  Prior to Mosaic, Nicole was on the Brand Management team at Anheuser-Busch working on brands such as Budweiser and Bud Light.  Outside of work, Nicole loves traveling, entertaining, and outdoor sports. Friends know Nicole for her love of playing hostess and entertaining friends and family whenever there is the opportunity.  

 


Bharat Kapoor

Bharat graduated from Booth in 2010 and then joined A.T. Kearney, where he is a principal in the Chicago office.  Prior to that he spent a decade at Motorola. In his current role, he is focused on Industrial Internet and Innovation.  Bharat also has a MS in Computers and BE in Electrical engineering.  

 

Bharat lives in the Chicago areas with his wife and two kids.  He also serves as pit crew for his kids' karting team.

 


 
Sean Frey

K. Sean Frey is the Vice President of Treasury at ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago.  At AACC, Sean oversees the daily operations of the Treasury Department, which encompasses the Securities Financing Division.  At AACC, Sean is the Chair of the Advisory Committee for the ABN AMRO Clearing Ambassador Program, which is a global initiative to further cultural transformation in ABN AMRO Clearing.  Sean also serves as the global liaison for the AACC Finance Department. 

Sean started his career at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington DC in the Office of Compliance, Investigations, and Examinations.  He moved to Chicago for a role in the Market Regulation Department of the CBOE.  Sean entered the proprietary trading industry as the Chief Accounting Officer at Market Liquidity Network.  He then joined Ronin Capital, LLC and built the Accounting, Fixed Income Operations, and Treasury departments. 

Sean is a 2010 graduate “With Honors” from the Chicago Booth Evening MBA program with concentrations in Finance and Economics.  He is a 1998 graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree in Finance.  Sean currently serves on the Admissions Committee of Chicago Booth and most recently served as co-Chair of his 5-Year Chicago Booth Reunion.  Sean also is on the Advisory Board of the Notre Dame Executive Business Council and Chairs the Mentoring Committee.  He and his wife live in Lakeview and are the proud parents of two fun and energetic daughters.

Joe joined the firm in 2008. In this role, Joe provides investment consulting services to nonprofit organizations, corporate executives, family trusts and other substantial investors. Joe provides advice and expertise on asset allocation and portfolio design, investment policy statements, the manager search process and overall investment management. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Service Associate and Analyst with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management Office.  Joe also worked as a Managing Director for an asset management firm implementing a value equity strategy based on University of Chicago Booth research.  Joe earned his MBA with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Iowa. Joe is a member of UNICEF’s NextGen Junior Board and The University of Iowa’s J.P.E.C. Alumni Board, as well as Co-Founder of the Hawkeye Business Development Group of Chicago.  Joe is current Secretary and Director at Large of the University of Chicago Booth Alumni Club Board of Directors.
