2009 Rain Making Development Group

Strong relationships are crucial for success, particularly in a difficult economy, yet the practical skills of relationship-building are too often overlooked.  As a continuation of the Rain Making Series, the Chicago Booth Alumni Club offers a hands-on work group to help alums become more effective at relationship building for business development, managerial effectiveness, sales or job hunting.

The monthly work groups include specific readings for small group discussion where participants learn how to build an effective network, interact to develop their networking techniques and skills and share best practices.  Participants are encouraged to support each other in attaining the results they seek.  Accordingly, this program offers greatest value to those participants who are prepared to take action to maximize the value of their relationship networks.
